Throughout my time in office, I have dedicated myself to representing our community with honesty, integrity and a commitment to progress. I began this journey as a volunteer for the Dedham Rotary Club and a small business owner, including the current owner of the Dedham Community Theatre, as someone that wanted to advocate for our community. Today I am a seasoned representative, having chaired numerous committees and passed legislation large and small and continue my service with the same commitment and aspirations as I have from day one.
As your elected representative, I have tackled the pressing issues that matter most to you, your families and the residents of 11 th Norfolk District - funding our schools, enhancing public safety, improving veterans’ benefits, helping senior citizens and supporting small businesses. I have worked tirelessly on these issues and countless others. My passion for our district runs deeper than just achievements on Beacon Hill. I believe in the power of community voices, and have actively listened to your concerns, making it a priority to incorporate your feedback into my decision-making. This approach has not only built trust but has also allowed us to work together towards solutions that truly reflect our needs. It’s that spirit of collaboration and co-operation that guides me still today.
My priority has been and always will be the people that I represent, and always putting people over politics. Giving citizens a place to go and a person to turn to when they need access to the Democracy that is supposed to be working for them - and honoring a government of the people, by the people and for the people. This mindset is something I pride myself on and is what motivates me on a day-to-day basis. Since my very first days in office, I have been able to help members of our community remove obstacles, navigate the red tape and make government more efficient for them.
I am running for re-election because there is still work to be done, people to help and goals to accomplish. We must continue to advocate for affordable housing, protect our environment, promote economic development, access resources for mental health and substance use disorders and provide a quality education that leaves no one behind, to name just a few.
My experience and unwavering dedication to our community, uniquely positions me to lead in these efforts effectively. I am respectfully asking for your vote in the upcoming General Election to help build a brighter future for all. Together, we can continue to make meaningful strides toward a community and a Commonwealth we can all be proud of.
